Technology, Nanotechnology, Agronomy, Animal Physiology and
Economics and Statistics.
recruitment of the staff will be made on tenure basis for certain
posts. Basic veterinary qualification will be waived for certain
disciplines like biotechnology, biochemistry, information
technology, nanotechnology, agronomy, economics and statistics. The
pay and allowances and the work atmosphere will be so structured as
to attract best talent in India and abroad including NRIs. Reputed
Scientists of national and international levels need to be inducted
for successful functioning of the Institute.
The Para-technical Staff includes Junior Veterinary Officers,
Livestock Assistants, Veterinary Assistants, Lab-Technicians and
The Support Staff will include Administrative Officer,
Superintendents, Stenographers, Senior Assistants, J. A. C. Ts,
Drivers, Record Assistants and Attenders.
There will be Maintenance Staff of Civil, Electrical, Automobile and
Instrumentation Engineers, Electricians, Plumbers, Carpenters,
Automobile mechanics and Motor and pump set mechanics.
Contract Labour will be engaged as per need.
Consequent to the incorporation of IGCARL as a Private Limited
Company, the designation of Director has been changed as Chief
Executive Officer. Further with the introduction of PPP and SEZ, the
private partners are expected to set up laboratories and recruit
scientists and other staff. Thus there will be savings in equipment
and recurring expenditure in the form of staff salaries, chemicals,
glassware and other contingencies.
